So it has been a couple of weeks. The last blog was a mix of my activities and bad news. Well, since the last post, nothing has really changed. Dad is sadly still jobless. No one is hiring is this world. I don't get why this is happening, but it is for some reason. I started Field Experience at Paint Rock Valley High School today. This is a tiny school. I didn't realize how small it was until I walked in. I am in Kindergarten for tomorrow, then I go to first and second grade (Yes, they are combined) Wednesday. I will probably work my way up until it is over. I'm not having the best time with it right now, but hopefully that will change when I get used to their methods. I am all about order. Make a schedule and follow it, unless there is an emergency of course. I felt like today there was absolutely no order in that classroom. Yes, I understand it is Kindergarten, but I have seen order in a Kindergarten classroom for a whole semester.
I am enjoying being away from CVS for a week. I worked Saturday, and won't return until the First. Then, I work again the Seventh, then back to the old schedule on the Ninth. This will give me a break. Big break. I received my Pharmacy Technician License. I am a little anxious to see what will happen now. Will I keep the schedule I have, or move to the Pharmacy completely??
Alabama football. I love it. We played Tennessee Saturday. The whole game was boring. Field goals were what it consisted of. Until 3 minutes left in the game. The last 4 seconds made the whole game. Thank you Terrence!! "Rocky Block" was the best thing ever. Everyone's blood pressure was sky high the last 4 seconds of that game. I love games like that, only that good during the whole game. We finally get a week off, and then it is LSU. I'm a little nervous about that one. I'm hoping this week off will help the guys come together again.

So It Comes Crashing
It has been a busy few days. Basically the same old stuff....school and work. Pharmacy has been really busy. With the start of the month, everyone's scripts are coming due for refill, which means busy, busy, busy. I have come to like the schedule I have been put on. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the front store. Tuesday and Thursday are in the pharmacy. Although when I get my license, I would like for the days to be switched, or possibly in the pharmacy the whole time. The bad part about that would be the weekends. I bet they would expect me to work some weekends to rotate out. I have grown fond of being off Saturday and Sunday. It gives me great family time, plenty of chill time, and some homework to stick in. Maybe they wouldn't mind me working everyday during the week, and having the weekends off. I haven't began that talk with them yet, I haven't even received my Tech License yet. I guess when I get that, and we start to slowly move me back there, that discussion can be brought up.
Our world changed a bit this week. Business at my dad's workplace has been gradually slowing due to the economy. He works in housing supplies sales. He was a salesman who did good compared to the other salesmen on the floor. He even was given Salesman of The Year last year, for bringing in more profit for the company than any other salesman. The company has been cutting people left and right all year pretty much. I personally didn't expect to hear the news Tuesday evening when I got home from work that they had decided to cut him. After all the sales he done, bringing so much profit to the company, I thought he would survive the cut. For some reason, they didn't see him valuable. I never understand why things happen for the worse. I know it is just another mountain to climb, but my goodness. When do we catch a break? When will we be able to be at a place where that sense of worrying can go away? All part of the plan I suppose. It will be revealed one day I guess.
Alabama football is my favorite hobby in the fall. We have a good record, unbeaten. What can get better than that?? I was hoping to go to a game this year. Trav had asked if he got tickets, would I pay for mine. Well duh! Of course I would. On the tickets he had found online, he decided not to get them. I then later find out that he is taking our aunt and uncle's tickets for that same game he talked to me about. One thing though, I'm not invited this time. That hurt in a way. Talking to me about it, then changing your mind, then end up getting tickets anyways, but then leaving me out. huh.
Field experience starts in a few weeks. I was placed in Paint Rock Valley's Kindergarten for 10 days. I'm excited!! Ready for a small break from all this homework, and excited to go back into a classroom for a few days. It has been a while since I have been in an elementary classroom. I can't wait until I'm finished with this so I can be in one more often.
