Oh How Good It Sounds!!

Hello!! So it has been a few days, but I have been so busy this week! Let's get a quick re-cap......

I blogged Monday, so I was home all day doing little chores around my room and stuff. I also worked on homework.
Tuesday I did community service for my Foundations class at the Library at my high school. I did little jobs throughout the library that she said needed to be done, and that is what I was there for!!
Wednesday, I printed the prom invitations and envelopes for her. I also rolled up the faculty invites, and they tied them shut with ribbons.
Thursday, I worked for the special education teacher at school.
Today, I worked again! In the computer room for a teacher that I had at both my schools. Yes, it is kinda weird knowing that I took her class at one high school, and she was there when I moved to another high school.

I accomplished a lot today and this week! I typed up my service paper and turned it in Wednesday, and started typing my last final yesterday. Well guess what!!!

I TURNED IN MY LAST FINAL TODAY!!! WOOHOO!!

So good-bye spring semester, and hello to 17 weeks of tanning, reading, hanging out, and no stress!! I know I will be ready for the fall semester to begin when the time gets here. I will enjoy the next 17 weeks for sure!!

Another Award!

Well! Miss Haley is just the sweetest blog friend ever! She has decided to give me another award. How awesome! Thank you Haley!!

So, as part of this award, I have to say seven things about myself.....

1. I am the oldest of three children, and the only girl.
2. I was the only girl of my grandmother's grandchildren until July 13, 2008 when Miss Hannah Grace was born.
3. I am a huge momma's girl. If she was not in my life I don't know where I would be.
4. I am an organization freak. So much that when I organize an area of my room, I am re-organizing it by the next week.
5. I has a to-do list for my life.
6. I used to scrapbook all the time until I started college. I sadly can't find the time to do it anymore!
7. I love taking pictures of family and nature. I plan to own a Nikon camera someday when I get my dream job.

Media Monday

Well, Monday is here again. The weekend seems to go too fast. Hope you had a good one! It was really pretty here again, only a little cooler. My allergies were terrible yesterday. The pines are starting to be at their worst, and they are all around my house! Yikes!

Today, Haley's theme is books again! This time she wants to know your favorite book you HAD to read in high school. This is such an easy one, and I absolutely love this book!

I had to read this book during my Junior year of high school. The teacher I had was Mrs. Cook. I really liked her, but she had been in the school system for years and years. My mom had her when she was in high school! It was really weird to have a teacher that both my parents had in high school! If you haven't read this book, I strongly recommend it!

So I finished another week of school! Just a few more days to go! Everything that I have left to do is due on the 25th. My goal right now is to get everything finished as soon as possible, and that day is hopefully Wednesday or Thursday of this week. Here is the catch, I work Thursday, and I want to get service learning in on Tuesday and Wednesday. Athens calls it service learning, but it is community service. When I tell a friend I have community service, they instantly want to know what I did to get in trouble ha!! Me?? In trouble?? In trouble enough to have community service?? NAH!! That's not me lol. So busy week ahead, which means it is going to go by fast!! Yay!!

So, I have 17 weeks of summer break. Wow right? What am I going to do during those 17 weeks? Well, possibly get a job.....still debating on that. But I have made a reading list. I want to read a few books this summer. One that I plan to start as soon as I finish with school is Eat.Pray.Love. I want to have it read before the movie comes out in August. I used to hate reading, but I think it is because I had to read so many things in high school. Can't wait to get started on that book!

It's Friday, I'm In Love!!

1. I absolutely love this show!! I have become a "gleek" for sure!

2. This wonderful warm weather we are having here in north Bama. It is a little summer feeling, but it is great. 

3.  I really like flowers. My grandmother has the best green thumb ever, and she always plants the prettiest flowers every year. When there is a breeze, the wonderful smell of the flowers come over to our place. We live next to each other!

4. I'm loving gettin' my tan on =)

5.  The huge blooms of the dogwood trees!! We have two at our house and they are so pretty!!

6.  Painting toes with bright summer polish!

New Pictures

Happy Thursday!! I can't believe how fast this week has gone! Today was a small shopping day for us. Chad is out of school on spring break so he tagged along and got his hair cut! I have a "winter Chad" and a "spring Chad" picture below! Thanks to my bloggy friend Haley, I have my award up on my page, and she is working on a button for me! She is so good at this technical coding stuff! Check out my pictures I took today!

This is me of course!! My hair is getting long compared to how I usually have it. It is about time to call Miss Britt!! I love how she cuts my hair!

This is my mom a.k.a my Bestie! She is so awesome!!

This is "winter Chad"! Look at all that hair!! He likes to swish it to the side like that. I think it is cute that he can swish it like the teen boys do now ha!!

And this is "spring Chad"! He is loving it that his winter hair is gone!

Media Monday (A Day Late)

So it has been a whole week since I blogged!!! It has been crazy here the past few days. The semester is winding down, I have 13 days left! Yay! I have finished two classes, and have two more to go. I finish one class on Friday, so then I will be down to one! I'm looking forward to this long summer break. I counted and I will have 16 weeks of taking it easy, reading, tanning, and hanging out. So exciting!!

So I know I'm a day late, but I wanted to post this!! This week's topic is your favorite love story. I had to choose a Nicholas Sparks book of course!

This is about the love of a sheriff and a second grade teacher after both have had their share of tragedies. I won't give you the complete details that way you can have the shocks I had when I read it!! It is a wonderful story as is all Sparks' writings.

Top Two Tuesday

Is anyone having wonderful weather like we are here in Bama? It is quiet warm, but oh so nice. I had my Art Final this morning. I aced it!! I have hated this class from day one, and let's just say that I was so happy to walk out of that classroom for the last time for that class!! I ran into Wal*Mart to get some lotion, rushed home to change, and went out to the back yard for some sun. I tanned for about an hour and a half. I can't really see a difference, but I know I will soon!! We have a cat that decided to make this her home not long ago. My little brother decided to name her Ruby. We could tell she was a family cat because she was extremely friendly the first time she came up here. We hated that she was around and didn't have any food, so we started feeding her and I guess calling her ours. (I'm not fond of cats.) Over the past few weeks, she has gotten really fat. Yes, she was pregnant. She had her kittens yesterday, and they are so adorable!! Dad found where they were at. Ruby let him pick them right up!! He put them in a small play tub and brought them in for us to see. Ruby was right there with dad of course to make sure nothing happened. She has two black with gray and yellow, one that looks just like her, and one solid yellow!! I love the yellow ones. They are the cutest.

Media Monday!!

Haley is doing Media Monday now instead of Music Monday! This covers all the bases of music, books, and movies. I have followed her from day one on Music Monday, so I for sure was going to take part in this. I would put up the banner and pictures of the band, but for some reason pictures will not post on my blog!! I don't know what I did, or if it is even me. Go link up on her page!

This week's theme is Your Favorite Cover Song. I really like this theme, and it reminds me of when I told my parents about this song. They thought it was so funny that I liked it and was listening to it. Here is the story:


One day this song came on the radio. This was a while back.....2003. I told mom to turn it up that I liked this song. I started singing, and she said, "That song is old! Don Henley sang that song years ago." Well I really liked and that didn't stop me. I still listen to it some today. I recently put it on my mp3. So Don Henley wrote and sang the song in 1984. I wish I could post pictures of both Henley and the band. I did get the video up though!!
