Nook
Well this week has just flew by! I think it's because I was off on Wednesday. Anywho, I shopped yesterday with my mother. I just love shopping with her. We went to the mall to try to find her something to wear for my cousin's upcoming wedding. I might be playing a small part in the wedding, so I found my dress a while back. We found my mom a really cute skirt and top. She also found the cutest pair of capris. I found my bathing suit too!! It's super cute. It's a halter tankini.....yellow with white polka-dots...and has black trim along the top with little yellow polka-dots. And plain black bottoms to go with it. It was regular $50, I paid $19.72. L-O-V-E!!!
Also, I traveled over to "the valley" and stopped by Barnes & Noble to browse around. I have wanted a Nook for a while, and finally played with one this past weekend. I really liked it. It was the New Nook, that's small, compact, and all touch screen. I have also played with the Nook Color before. Very nice. I decided to just stick with this one....
This is the Nook First Edition. It's black and white with a color touch screen on the bottom. The arrows are for changing pages of course. Not only can you read books, you can play games, listen to music, and search the web for anything. Last night, I tested Blogger on it. It's in black and white, but still serves the same purpose! I really like it so far! While I was browsing books on their website, I came across "free nook books." Hhhmmm....free....Yep, I'm for sure gonna check that out. It is seriously free books that you can download to your Nook. I found a few books that seemed interesting, and right now I'm reading this one.....
I for sure want to read "The Help" soon because I was hooked just by reading the back of the book, and I've read and heard so many good reviews about it. I recently seen a movie poster for it, so I hope to read it before I watch the movie. But for now, I'll stick to the free books!!

Anniversary Along With Randomness
Yesterday, June 1st, was a work day of course. But not just any work day....One year ago yesterday I started working at the wonderful "C"!!
I am looking forward to this summer. I want to do so much, need to do so much, and just imagine that I won't have the time to do it all! Last weekend I shopped at Rue and watched.....
School will be starting back before I know it, and it will be back to the grind of work along with tons of homework. I already have my last 4 academic classes planned for this fall!! WooHoo!! It will be time to start before I know it. Then, it will be over before I know it!!
Today I finally got my haircut. I may post a picture soon. I'm still "iffy" about it. The length is fine, style.....still deciding. To wrap up....I have my eye on this.....

To celebrate, I made cupcakes for everyone and reminded my bosses that I had been there for a year. We all know why I did the reminding haha!! The cupcakes were a hit, and I don't have any left! I put chocolate chips in them, but they sank to the bottom of the cake. I don't know how in the world to keep them from sinking!
Memorial day, we had a cookout for my grandma's birthday. It was super hot, but really fun seeing everyone and just relaxing. Today is my grandma's birthday! Here is a picture of her and Hannah Grace...

It is just flat out hot here in Northern Bama. Heat index is 105 or higher, and highs are in the upper 90's. So....Is it August and I just didn't know it?? Weather here has just been crazy. My car has leather interior, and let.me.tell.you......it is crazy-hot in car in the afternoons!! I've never had leather interior until now. In the winter, it's especially cold.....in the summer, it's especially hot! But it's okay, I still like it....
So funny, and I liked it just as much as the first one!
Today I finally got my haircut. I may post a picture soon. I'm still "iffy" about it. The length is fine, style.....still deciding. To wrap up....I have my eye on this.....
