This past weekend flew by so fast. Actually, today flew by too! I wonder if that means February is going to be over in a flash? If so, spring is closer than I thought.
Saturday, I had asked off because Mark Ingram was coming to the mall for autographs. I should have researched before I asked off! The price for his "scribble" was out of my pay range. So instead, I needed to do some work for school. I decided to take my little brother with me because I had to go to the library. We also decided to get his haircut while we were out. After lunch, and all our running around, we came home for me to start on homework. Saturday was our "spring preview" day. It was so pretty and warm outside. I didn't spend much time out since I had so much work to catch up on. After a little work, I visited my new favorite website to browse!
Sunday was a day that I had been waiting to come for about 3 weeks. It was a normal day, breakfast with the family, laundry, and finishing homework. Then mom, Chad, and I headed to Huntsville to a concert that was beyond amazing. The Rock and Worship Roadshow made a stop in Huntsville. I was very excited that one of my favorite bands was going to perform. Out of the 6 bands, I knew 3. MercyMe, Jars of Clay, and The Afters, which is my favorite. Matt Maher and Anthem Lights were just as great. I definitely will be buying their music, as well as the others! The messages that these bands put out were wonderful. How they were feeling, as well as true stories that they were able to share. True, uplifting stories. The music messages were beautiful. Listening to that music would for sure bring someone's spirits up!! The one band I didn't mention was one that was no where near my taste, but a lot of people were there to see them, which was great. If I could have understood what Thousand Foot Krutch was saying, then I'm sure I would have loved their message as well!
So from all that, I guess you could say that today, I have felt much better than I have in a long time spirit wise. I am having a few other problems, but will be going to the doctor soon to figure out what is going on. Nothing serious I'm sure!!

Another New Start
Anytime I hear someone say something about starting over, starting new, or anything of that nature, I always stop and think, You can't start over just once, everything is a constant start over, or newness. As much as I hate change and having to adjust to change, starting over is nothing to hate on. I feel that those two things, change and starting over, are totally different.
Change, in my thinking, is for example, having to move, getting a different job, a different sleep schedule. Those changes can be irritating, and hard to do at times. Starting over, however, is like beginning a new year, having a different outlook on things, having a new school schedule. Starting over comes naturally in a way, something that you choose to do, instead of being forced to do. I think everyone can agree that doing something that you like to do, or want to do, is far better adjusting to than something that you don't want to do, or have control over. Why do we get so upset and down when we lose control of things? Why can't we be content with everything?
So far this year, I have worked, got everything ready for school, played in the most snow that i can remember ever having, and missing a week of work and school due to that snow. So far this year has gone pretty good. I'm keeping my head up, concentrating on things that should be concentrated on, rather than the things that I can't help, and can't fix. I have been doing better about not dwelling on the past. I keep telling myself, "What's done is done, you can't help what happened then, now you know what to do when the time comes." and so on like that. I haven't really wrote about my "dwellings" because it is something that I don't really want to read over this time next year, or later on. I hope that it becomes a forgetful memory. The bad things that happened when I was a teenager are over with, so forgetting now. Not sitting her thinking about what I should have done, or what I wish I had done. Nope. Take what I know, and put them into place now. And later. Know what I did wrong, and don't do it again. I know those childish mistakes are behind me, and won't ever show up again.
School was supposed to start on the 10th. The whole state was pretty much covered in snow and ice. Today I had my first Science meeting. There are only 8 people in the class! I don't think it is gonna be as bad as I first thought. I'm taking a full load, as always, and so far I'm able to stay ahead of the game and on top. Hopefully it will stay that way. I'm a bad procrastinator when it comes to lesson plans, or other big projects. I'm gonna try my hardest not to do that!!
