Wee Bit

{one} if you won a trip to Disneyland/world, who would you take with you?
My family for sure. We have always wanted to go so it would be an amazing family trip.

{two} when was the last time you listened to a CD?
On my way home from work tonight.
{three} what spice/seasoning is your favorite?
Basil!! I love the smell of it.

{four} if you were in a band, what kind of music would you play?
Something along the lines of The Script or Maroon 5.

{five} if you could have personally witnessed one historical event, which one would it be?
Princess Diana's wedding! I think that would have been great to see.

{six} if you could go back to school, what would you study?
I'm still in school and don't have a plan B....so it would be education.

{seven} if you could go to one sporting event, all expenses paid, which one would you see?
Definitely the Super Bowl!! That is on my "to do" list!

{eight} do you drive an automatic or a manual?
Automatic. I don't think I'll ever be able to learn a manual!

{nine} are you comfortable speaking in front of people?
No! I hate speaking in front of groups of people, but put me in front of a group of children and I could talk all day! I think I'm going into the right business for that :)

{ten} have you ever experienced an earthquake?
A very small one. I was about 12 I think. I was on the floor in my bedroom talking on the phone. The ground rumbled like a huge clap of thunder, and my furniture shook. Talk about being scared! I ran into the living room where my parents were haha! It's funny how some things like that stick in your head!

Not Such A Weekend

Since I started going to school two days a week, I have not had a weekend. Most people that work or go to school get a 2-day weekend, Saturday and Sunday. My weekends consist of Sunday. Last weekend, I was able to be off Saturday and Sunday because we had Spring Break, and I didn't have any classes. Boy did I take advantage of that! I slept in both days, and just relaxed. But, that just went by way too fast. Before I was ready, Monday was back, and I found myself back in class. No more 2-day weekends for me until May!
This past week has been terrible.....

A week ago Friday, I started coughing, sneezing, and overall feeling bad thanks to my allergies. Before I complain, I must say that I am super happy that Spring is finally here!! Anywho, back to feeling bad.....
It started progressing, and on Wednesday I woke up with my chest hurting and super tight feeling. I was struggling to breathe. I went on to work, and was breathing like I had ran a marathon! I went to the doctor, and the doctor said, "Are you really struggling to breathe just sitting here?" Yes sir! Huffing and Puffing. As he finished listening to my lungs, he also added, "Hmmm....sounds like you are starting to get pneumonia." I added that I had it once before, and that made him think it even more so.

My end result.......
  • 2 shots.....one being my very first Rocephine shot which I have heard horror stories about!! I must add it hurt like crazy, and the muscle is still sore today.
  • One breathing treatment which was wonderful. It's amazing what that "fog" does.
  • An X-ray which came back clear! Luckily no hospital for me!!
  • A strong antibiotic that is killing this infection super fast. My cough is now productive!
So yeah, yesterday I was so flippin' tired that I slept for the longest time. Today has been full of homework....Haha what else is new!!?? I'm just thankful that I am back to being productive rather than a zombie, and I didn't have to spend some time in a hospital bed. Continuing to count down the weeks of ending this semester, I am now down to........

6 weeks

Paris Dreams

All of these images came from weheartit

I don't have intentions on going, but it would be fun to see!
While a lot of girls dream of going to Paris, mine has always been Italy.
Maybe one day?

First Day of Spring

This is gonna be quick......

Being buried in homework, and working when I'm not at school is all I'm consumed of at the moment. Work has been slow since it is finally warm here in Northeast Bama. I love it! It's been in the 70's all week, and the past two nights were amazingly warm. One of those nights to grab a blanket and lay on the patio to watch the stars. I've been able to drive to and from work with the windows down. I wish it would stay like this year round. Before too long, it will be so blazing hot that I'll have to put the windows back up and crank up the AC.

I'm way past ready for this semester to be over. My mom counted it up, and I have exactly 7 weeks left. Looking forward to a long summer off, planning tons of things, and hoping it will go a little slow so I can enjoy it!

One More To Go!

Yes! That's right! One more field experience observation to do! I'm beyond excited, and honestly can't believe it has finally came! Each semester, the education majors at my school do 10 days of observation in a classroom. So, with me having one more observation to do, it means that I have one more academic semester to complete! Then, I'll be in a classroom for 75 days. Next, I'll be preparing for graduation. Finally, I'll be receiving that paper that I need to get my job. The ticket to get in to something that I have always wanted to be a part of. Oh.My.Gosh.

I've been swamped with homework this semester. Work has been crazy as always. February was just flat out busy. The calendar on my wall for the month of February has something written on it everyday except on Sundays. Sundays=work closed and no school. I'm hoping March's calendar will be more empty!

One Saturday not too long ago, my mom and I went on a shopping trip after I got home from work. We went to CVS to get some face wash that I use. It is generic for St. Ive's Apricot Scrub. That stuff is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Well, we were shopping around the cosmetics when we came across this display of nail polishes that were only $2.00 a piece! I bought a bottle of blue, orange, and silver color. We ate at Chili's of course!! One of our favorite places to eat. I had a coupon for one free appetizer. I ordered the Nachos, and they were out of this world good! I will definitely get those again. I went to Rue21 and bought some clothes on their clearance rack. I have always wanted a necklace holder. They had a few half off, so I grabbed this one:

I don't know what these things are called, or how to describe it, so posting a picture will do! Ross was having a good sale on their dresses. So I ended up with three! Target had this very cute, white watch that I bought for like $12! We were way past due a shopping trip, and we had a blast.

I am very excited for the next few months! So much is going on, and of course I will blog about it when it gets here!!
