Baby Showers and Such

I changed my background again for August to honor Back-To-School! I start back August 24th, and I'm so excited. I'm counting it down. I met with my adviser on the 27th, and she let me know what I need to do for the Teacher Education Program interview. I'm so nervous!! Everyone that I have talked to about it has said it is not bad at all. Interviews make me a nervous wreck.

I have had so much on my mind her lately, but haven't had the time to blog about it. Besides working and getting ready for school, nothing has been going on. I got to see a friend of mine on Sunday that I haven't seen in a very long time. She is expecting her first child, and her sister threw her a baby shower. It was so cute!! She is having a boy, and the theme of the shower and the baby's room is Cowboy! They had little hats, boots, and straw all around, and she had a lot of cowboy outfits.

One of my cousins and good friends had her baby shower today. She is having a girl, and it is due on my birthday!! I'm so excited, and it was so awesome to see her today. We had a lot of fun talking, catching up, and looking at all the great gifts she got. She is decorating her nursery in Gerber Daisies, and she got a lot of colorful gifts, very cute outfits, and diapers. I can't wait for Hayleigh to get here! I plan to go to Candace's house soon to see the nursery.

This is all the gifts she got today. She is having another shower Tuesday, so she will be all set!

So Leigh does this fun thing on Wednesdays!! I really want to blog about things, but I'm sadly short on time. I have a three day weekend, so I will have time to blog later!

{two} what's the furthest you've ever traveled?

I went to Canada with a bunch of people my senior year. It was an end-of-the-year trip for a group of students who were in this club. It was really fun!!

{three} what's your guilty pleasure tv show?

Oh goodness, it is The Bachelor/Bachelorette.....I wish it wasn't sometimes!

{four} if you had to give up one favorite food, what would be the hardest?

Spaghetti for sure!! I love it. I would eat it three times a week if I could!

{five} if you could become any fictional character, who would you be?

The Little Mermaid was always my favorite movie when I was little, so I would have to go with her =)

{six} what's your favorite season of the year?

Fall for sure!!  Cool weather, falling leaves, pretty colors, football!

{seven} what's your biggest phobia?

I absolutely hate spiders!!! I'm whatever they call the phobia that is afraid of spiders ha!!

{eight} would you rather swim in a pool or the ocean?

Pool for sure. I don't like being in the ocean. I'm scared of sharks, jellyfish, and anything else that could get me. 

{nine} what did you eat for breakfast today?

I slept too late to have breakfast. I usually have either toast or cereal. Fruit if it is here. 

{ten} if you could only listen to one song for the next month, which song would it be?

"Keeping Me Alive" by The Afters. They are so great!
