New Looks

I changed my background again! Not by choice really. The website that I use is either having troubles, or they are updating their system. I had a warning on my page that the background would be gone tomorrow. So I went to a different website and found this one that will do until either my old background comes back, or I find something better. I had a few from the old website that I wanted to use, so hopefully they will be fixed soon!

So it is flat out hot in Bama!! We are under heat advisories like crazy all over the state and surrounding! It makes you want to stay inside, where it is cool, and not do a thing. So I thought it would be a good time to blog! I'm not catching any time to really sit down and blog, or share pictures. The pictures I share today though will just be random cute things from other websites that I like. Pictures of things that I either really like, or that are on my mind, and maybe a few that hint what I an anxious for!

So ready for fall to get here!!! I have a few exciting things coming up in the next few weeks. I have a friend who is having her first baby! Her baby boy will be here mid September. The baby shower is August 1st. And also, a girl that I grew up with is having her first baby too!! She is having a girl though. I can't wait to see baby Hayleigh!! She is due on my birthday! That would be so fun if she was born on my birthday. Her baby shower is August 7th. School starts back August 24th! I'm excited about school, but I know by the end of September, I will be ready for a break! I keep telling myself, "Not much longer, and it will be so worth it in the end......"

So Much To Say

I have so many things I want to blog about, but I haven't had the energy (sadly) or time to really sit down and put my thoughts into words. It is rather sad to me because I do enjoy blogging. Not because I want to have a ton of followers, although I think it is super awesome that a few people find what I do interesting. So thank you, 11, for liking what goes on in my life, and the pictures!!

I blog to keep up with what happens in my life. I see this as a journal just like everyone else. I really like it, and like reading other people's as well. I enjoy finding people that don't live close to me, and find out that we enjoy the same things, or pretty much write about the same things. Our life. So, here is what is going on.........

Work....How sad that I start out with work??? But that is all that is mainly going on right now. It is going good. I have good days, and bad, but doesn't everyone at their workplace? I like my co-workers....for the most part. There are a few that I just don't know about right now, and one that I feel like has my back for sure. She helps me all the time, and I don't feel stupid asking her questions. I work a lot, but it is good right now. Needing the money and all. I just get so tired easily. I come home give out. I don't feel like doing anything but chatting with mom and then going to bed. My tiredness will only get worse when school starts back.

Speaking of, I registered for classes last week. I'm really excited about the upcoming semester. I will be going to campus one day out of the week. This will be the first time I've ever done that. I take all my classes online or blended, where I go to Northeast once a month. So this will be something new and fun.

I want to share a few pictures from Friday night. We bought the things to make smores with! I have never, ever had a smore before. Dad grilled out some chicken, and there was still a fire going, so we roasted marshmellows from the grill. Not my idea, but that he didn't feel like building a fire on the ground! They were oh so good! I for sure want another one sometime!

Chad burnt his to a crisp the first time! And that is my mom beside him digging in to hers!

July Fourth Weekend

This past weekend was a blast. I had such a great time with my family! It all started on Saturday.....

I had to work, blah, but when I got home I changed clothes and we headed to the movies. We were going to see "A-Team," but it was showing a little later than we wanted. We settled for "Knight and Day." I'm so glad we did!! That movie is so funny! You should really check it out if you haven't already! Then we headed to Rosie's for some great food! I love that place. Much better than the places in Scottsboro.

Sunday we decided to go to Bridgestreet. We shopped around, listened to the singers along the ways, and ate some great food again! We had Smokehouse which is awesome! We had the pulled pork sandwiches! I also had my fried pickles too!! Yum!

Once the sun started to set, we went to the car to get our blankets. We sat on the huge lawn with tons of other people, listened to the band that was set up, and waited for the fireworks to begin. Their firework show was the best I have ever seen! It was amazing. I tried to get pictures of them, but I wasn't fast enough. I recorded a few seconds of video instead. Halfway Gone!

Some changes around here since it is the beginning of the month! I love that we can change our backgrounds to fit what is going on in our lives! This month is a special holiday, so why not show it off on the blog! Also, can you believe we are halfway done with 2010??? What!? Where has the time gone? Isn't it great. Not wishing my life away by any means, but right now I love that time is going by quiet fast. That much closer to being finished with school, that much closer to teaching!

The different colors of polish there are to pick from! In the summertime, I try to paint my toes a different color ever week!

I bought a basket full of my favorite fruit this week from a local orchard! They are delish!
