We always eat breakfast at my grandma's house on Christmas morning. We had a lot of fun this year. The main topic of conversation was....Alabama Football of course. The guys just couldn't stop talking about it. While they chatted, us ladies watched Hannah Grace explore. She opened up to us more this time than any other time they have came up here. She was so cute in her outfit!!
She was really happy today. Loved exploring everything and jabbering to everyone. When we asked her a question, she would shake her head the right answer. It was so cute. We wondered if she really knew what she was saying. I would ask her, "Will you come take a picture with me?" And she shook her head yes, and walked over and sat with me. She let all of us hold her, or play with her. This is not normal, so we were kinda in shock about it. At Thanksgiving, she didn't let any of us touch her.
This was the first time she had seen Jeremy in about a year. She didn't know what to think! She would just smile at him.
She kept sitting my grandma. She would keep calling her "Nana," which is what she calls April's mom. She called Jeremy, "Meme." It was the cutest thing! She couldn't get my name anywhere close. She would try, and her tongue would come way out. It was funny.
We cooked a ham dinner this evening for us. I, of course, had veggies. It was so good. This year had been rough for me and my family. For Christmas to be over already means that it is just getting closer to the start of a new year. A fresh start in my eyes. I'm really excited about it. I'm so glad God has blessed me with such an amazing family. He blessed us today in many ways. He even gave us a little snow to top off a great Christmas.
Happy Birthday Jesus
=)
